Wood poppy in bloom. I think we have about eight plants this year, up from one original when we moved in, all spread from seed.
No, not the one in Pittsburgh... I live in Algonquin, IL, in an old house once owned by a man who self-published a book of essays titled "With the Squirrels on the Hill."
